About Silver Fox

Chris Webster started Silver Fox Tours in 2011. Formerly working in executive recruitment, Chris decided to take a leap and follow his passion for travelling and playing host. Family and friends of Chris have long enjoyed his special talent for planning adventures big and small, making sure that all contingencies, such as airport transfers and hotel bookings, are thought of. The special moments of experiencing nature, culture and history are a key motivation for his tours, as are delicious meals and divine coffee stops!

Chris runs Silver Fox Tours from his office in Gauteng. He has transported his guests to destinations all over the country in his luxury tour van. While the van cannot come on overseas trips, your travel to far-off lands is equally guaranteed to be as safe, comfortable, and well-taken care of.

Day 1
You will be picked up at your home at a time to be advised and transferred to Lanseria Airport. Our flight is at 9.05 am and we will land in Cape Town at 11.20 am. We will board the bus and depart for a snack lunch in Malmesbury before continuing our journey to Citrusdal. Just short of 200kms and very scenic, especially over the Piekenierskloof Pass. Comfort stops on the way. We will check into the Citrusdal Lodge about 4.30 pm, enjoy a drink at 6.00 pm and a country style meal at 7.00 pm.

Day 2

Today we head south for Veldrif, Port Owen, Vredenberg, Saldanha and on to Langebaan, time permitting. There are usually lovely flowers en route and alongside the Lagoon. I should explain that the flowers only come out if the sun is shining at about 10.30 am and they close at about 3.00 pm. Lunch at Paternoster at the Voorstrand, literally on the beach, and then a return to Citrusdal.
